Welcome to Salisbury High School's webpage!

Welcome to Salisbury High School! We are proud to serve our community by providing students with a supportive, student-centered pathway to success. At Salisbury, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and achieve their goals in an environment built on meaningful relationships, high expectations, and personalized support.

Our vision is to create positive and powerful student-teacher relationships that strengthen academic and social skills, reduce chronic absenteeism, promote self-regulation, and foster intrinsic motivation. We bring this vision to life through our mission of connecting with students, creating engaging and dynamic learning opportunities, and supporting the social-emotional well-being of every learner.

As the needs of our students continue to evolve, so does Salisbury. We have strengthened our instructional program by implementing a rigorous direct-instruction model Monday through Thursday, paired with targeted interventions and individualized supports to help every student make meaningful academic progress. While Salisbury continues to serve students ages 16 and older pursuing an alternative path to graduation, we have also expanded our continuum of support through the FOCUS Program. Designed for 9th and 10th grade students who benefit from a smaller, highly structured educational setting, FOCUS helps students build the skills and confidence needed to successfully navigate high school.

What truly sets Salisbury apart is our commitment to educating the whole student. Our dedicated team of  teachers, counselors, administrators, and support staff works collaboratively to remove barriers to learning while fostering resilience, accountability, and hope. Through restorative practices, trauma-informed approaches, and strong relationships, we strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where students feel valued, connected, and empowered to succeed.

At Salisbury, we are more than a school—we are a collaborative community committed to helping every student discover their strengths, achieve their diploma, and prepare for a successful future beyond high school.
